I got an order from my friend Nina.
For 6 Rose velvet cupcakes.
Basically a red velvet cupcake dressed up with some fondant.
Now, instead of speaking to you about my efforts, let me show you!
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Mix it all up and here's the batter.
RED VELVET CAKE BATTER!
Scooped into cupcake cups.
And ready to go into the oven!
While the cupcakes were in the over, I began making my fondant.
Sadly this was a fail.
But I redid it and TA-DA!
Time to roll my fondant. <3
When working with fondant, of any kind. always remember to coat your rolling pin with icing sugar. or else the fondant sticks and gets all sticky and frustrating.

I couldn't help my self. just had to nip a cupcake and eat it. oh by the way thats peppermint cream cheese frosting, left over from a previous order. thats why its slightly green.
